Whole Foods Market Sponsors Eco-Village

The theme of "Green" is joining Custer's Last Stand Art Festival again this year as Whole Foods Market presents the Eco-Village. You'll find makers of solar and wind energy devices plus purveyors of organic and fair traded products add to the 38th annual gathering, June 19 and 20 in Evanston, Illinois.

An open air festival, twice voted Best Art Fair by Northshore Magazine's annual reader's poll, Custer's Last Stand Festival of the Arts attracts over 70,000 participants who meander through 400 booths featuring original art and craft work, antiques plus a selection of restaurateurs. Entertainers bring the added dimensions of music, song, dance, theater and laughter.

"Local and global connections come together with these important themes," said Festival director, John Szostek. "Whole Foods Market will have a wide spectrum of displays including tools, products, services and plans for living and working in rhythm with our natural environment, and, of course, great whole food." Visit the Whole Foods Market grill tent at the Eco-Village for pasture-raised burgers, vegan options, all-natural beverages and healthy snacks for sale.
